Thomas L. Friedman - The World is Flat

After reading Thomas L- Friedman's book on globalisation and his more recent book, first published 2008 published, "The World is hot, flat and crowded", dt.: Was zu tun ist. Eine Agenda für das 21. Jahrhundert " I have started to read another of Friedman's older work titled "The World is flat" from 2005.

In his introductory chapter "While I was sleeping" (Friedman, 205, 3-47) he outlines how he came to the conclusion that the world is really flat. Here is a video clip by Friedman on how he came to write this book. [....more on our course blog]
